The Clinical Studies on Dyspepsia by Using Rotatory Manipulation

Abstract
Objectives : In order to evaluate the effect of acupuncture on reducing the dyspepsia , we used rotatory manipulation.
Method : The patients were classified as two groups . The first group was included 20 patients with rotatory manipulation. The second group was also 20 patient with simple manipulation. The rotatory manipulation is rotate acupuncture clokwise or reverse pattern 9 or 6 times by patient condition.
The degree of dyspepsia was evaluated by visual analog scale(VAS).
Result : The degree of VAS was decreased 5.50¡¾1.54 in rotatory group. The degree of VAS was also decreased 4.30¡¾1.22 in second group.
Conclusions : The results revealed both rotatory manipulation and simple manipulation treatment was effect on reduce the dyspepsia.
The rotatory manipulation is more effective than simple manipulation.
